By now I have photographed quiet a few toddlers to say it’s no easy business. At this age kids are into exploring, they are not a fan of looking cute (more like I’d rather look silly) and have the attention span of, well a toddler! By the time I get her/him to do what I want the split second would have passed and I either was able to capture it or not. Forget about making them do the cute thing they unexpectedly did while you were at the wrong angle, you didn’t get that? oh too bad I wanna do something else now like say….. play with my toes and not look at the camera? sounds like a plan!
Christina, this precious little charmer here is no different. She had worked us out and kept us on our toes, well………. toes, knees, hands, upside down, any position you can think of to get the right shots.
She’ll easily capture you with her eyes and make you fall in love with her charming character. When I first met her she was shy and would hide behind her auntie when I talk to her, by the time we were doing her session it had been couple of times that we’ve seen each other and she was very friendly. The session was more of a play date for her. We played dress up, did our hair, modeled and danced all over the place. She was having so much fun that we had to fix her hair/clothes over and over again and one of the times that I was adjusting her flower headband she leaned over and tucked my shirt in because I was looking messy! It was the most adorable thing ever, my heart just melted.
When we finished and her daddy came to pick her up she was not ready to leave. We were tired but not sweet Christina, she wanted to stay and play and ended up crying on her way out :(. Heart melting I tell you!
Every kid is different and is special in his/her on way and my favorite part is to capture the things that makes them special. These moments that their families will remember forever through those photographs.
Nothing is more precious to me than seeing the joy in her family’s eyes when they saw her photos. Especially her auntie that adores her to the moon and back, Muna.
A Natural runway model, we only said give us a fashion show and this is what she did
